We are communicating with Jamfest to see how they handle paid bids. Every event producer does things differently. Therefore, do NOT make any reservations (air or hotel) yet. As soon as we have the details, we will post it.

Rubies as of today, your uniforms are not back yet. There are four of you that have your uniforms--please bring them to picture day for your picture and share them with your teammates.

UCA (Disney) INFORMATION
Everybody (whether on a traditional package or on a commuter package) should have received or be receiving paper confirmation in the mail. If you are staying on a package in a room with somebody else, the only one person in the room will receive the information in the mail. AT THE END OF THIS WEEK, if you have checked with everybody in your party and confirmed that you did not receive paper confirmation of your reservation information for UCA, please email Bonnie at cheering@comcast.net and let her know.
When you receive the information, make sure to review it very carefully and make sure it is correct. You are responsible for ensuring it is correct and you must call the number in the packet if any of the information is wrong.
If you have a balance due and it is being paid by YOUR credit card (and not by $$ in your FCA account), please complete a copy of the credit card form in the UCA Nationals Information and return it with your medical waiver to the address provided in the paperwork provided. The deadline for them to receive the information is 2/9. (UCA Nationals Information)
Any payments being made from your FCA account will be sent in on 2/1 -- IF the money is in your FCA account on that date. If the money is not in your account, payment will not be sent. If this occurs, you will be responsible for any late fees charged by UCA.

HAIR UPDATE:
OK. The 'boat' arrived and did not have our hair on it. Therefore, we are stuck waiting for the next boat for anybody that needs colors 12 and 14. If you have ordered those colors and no longer want hair because it will not be here for a while, that is fine, just email cheering@comcast.net and let us know. However, if you plan on cheering next year, I would suggest leaving your order in place.
Anybody needing other colors, they will be arriving soon. They are process the order without the 12's and 14's. Thanks!!

FCA BOOTS
A sample boot is on display at the gym. To order these boots go to http://www.shop.blingitybling.com/FCA-Team-Boots-flo.htm. The only way to purchase these is throught that website. If you would like just "plain" instead of picking a team colors for each of the gems, just select "Diamond or CZ" on each gem.
ATTENDANCE
Is mandatory. It is not acceptable to miss for anything and everything. Competition season starts soon and we need fully attended practices to be successful. Make every effort to be at every practice!
MAILBOXES
We have decided to eliminate the cheerleader's individual mailboxes since all info is posted on the website. There will be mailboxes for the Team Moms. Each team will have a column of mailboxes with the following labels:
COMPLETED WAIVERS - Please submit all completed waivers into this slot. (Crossovers need to do one waiver for each team they compete on.)
HANDOUTS TO TEAM MEMBERS - This slot will be used for the girls to pick up any handouts from the Team Mom or the gym.
On the other end of the mailboxes, there will be slots for the different individual fundraisers. There will be order forms placed in these slots for pick up.
PARKING LOT Do not block the entrance to the Handicapped Parking area. Please do not park by the "No Parking" signs or the "Reserved Parking" signs.
Do NOT stop and drop children off in front of the building. It is imperative that you park and then walk your child in, or drive around the back and they (older students) can walk up the sidewalk. When you stop at the entrance, cars line up behind you and onto the highway. This can cause a serious accident on the highway because of the speed they travel on this road. PLEASE DO NOT STOP AND DROP!!!!
SPECTATORS (Friends and family members)
Friends and family members are permitted to observe practice/classes on designated days. All spectators are required to stay in the balcony area. No one is permitted on the mats unless we have a signed waiver on file and they are enrolled in the class.
Students are not permitted on the mats until the coaches signals for the start of the class/practice/private. Once your session is over, please exit the mats.
CHEER SHOES -- To order shoes, email Marty at: meknez@hughes.net. Just a reminder that cheerleaders are not permitted to wear shoes on the mats that have been worn outside. Please help keep the mats free of rocks, gum, tar, glass and other items that you may pick up on the bottom of your shoes by changing into your cheer shoes once you are in the gym.

If for any reason you need to cancel a private, you must call the gym and leave a message. If you would like an immediate response when the gym is closed, you can also email Flo at FlosGymnastics@zoominternet.net. Thanks!
FCA CAMP GEAR All cheerleaders (full year and half year) are required to wear camp gear to every practice. Dirty camp gear is no excuse. Plain sports bras are not camp gear. (You are permitted to wear the sports bras under your camp gear.) Cheerleaders that do not wear camp gear will be expected to purchase new camp gear that day and it will be charged to your FCA account. Please do not permit your children to wear camp gear that is too small.
If you are a crossover from Rubies, Diamonds or Onyx to another team, you must wear the correct camp gear to practice each week for your other team.
INJURED CHEERLEADERS If you are injured and can not tumble, you are expected to attend your team tumbling. Depending on the injury, you can condition or watch.
SPECTATOR VIEWING If you would like to stay and watch practice (open practices) you are to remain in the balcony. Talk positive in the balcony!
NATIONAL JACKETS EMBROIDERED - Drop off at the front desk All jackets that you win here this year may be embroidered with the FCA logo and your name for just $7.50. Please follow the instructions below: If you would like to have the FCA logo and your name on your jacket, please place $7.50 in an envelope and attach it to your jacket. Make sure you write the correct spelling of your name on the envelope along with your telephone number in case there are any questions. All jackets can be left at the FRONT DESK. All animal hair must be cleaned off jackets or your jacket will be returned it you. ALSO, please put your initials inside your jacket on the tag. Please do not ask office for supplies, come prepared! When cheerleaders must miss practice, you are required to print the from from the "Forms" page on the website, complete it and the cheerleader is to hand it directly to the coach. Please print one for cheer practice and one for tumbling.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS For all items that you leave at the gym, please check the lost and found area the next time you come to the gym. Please do not call the gym asking about these items. Please ask about valuable items, they get locked up. Do not bring or wear anything of value to the gym. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
COACHES' PARKING SPOT The spots by the handicapped parking are reserved for coaches. Please do not park in these spots or block the entrance to these spots. Thanks.
FCA CLOTHING - It is our policy that no one is permitted to use the FCA name or the FCA logo on any clothing. All items using this name and logo (whether it is screen printed or embroidered) must be purchased through the gym. It is also prohibited that you make any clothing that would represent FCA in any way. The use of "gems", "team names".....is also not permitted.
Airbrushed items may be purchased at competitions using the FCA name. These items must be purchased at competitions.
SHOE POLICY The following was emailed to me (Flo) from the owners of Tumbl Trak and this is why we have a Shoe Policy at our gym, not only for our Tumbl Trak but the mats as well..... "Shoes are creeping more and more into the gym. Cheerleaders want to practice with their shoes on and coaches often wear them as they teach. What the cheerleaders and coaches don’t know is that street shoes (shoes that are worn to the gym) may have pieces of gravel, glass, or other foreign objects attached to the bottom. Getting a piece of glass or gravel on the bottom of a shoe can be as easy as walking through the parking lot. At Tumbl Trak we receive calls from gyms whose Tumbl Trak beds are wearing quickly, have rips, or have gotten small holes in them." Please do not wear outside shoes on our mats. This is not only to keep our equipment in good shape, but also for the protection of all our students. Thank you for not wearing outside shoes on the mats. If you see someone that is breaking our rule, please let me know. Thanks!
